Fristads is the first clothing producer in the world to publish
an environmental product declaration of a garment according
to the EPD standard for measuring the total environmental
impact of a garment – from choice of material to delivery of the
finished garment. We introduced the EPD because we want to
contribute to positive change and greater transparency when it
comes to the environmental impact of our products.

Fristads Green products have a certified Environmental
Product Declaration (EPD) giving information about the
environmental performance, contents and recycling, which has been controlled and

verified according to the requirements of the International EPD System. More
information is available at environdec.com. The EPD registration numbers are
displayed in connection to the products and at fristads.com.

We aim higher. Our groundbreaking work on our Green collection has attracted
much attention in the world. We are proud to have received two acknowledged
design awards for our sustainability achievement.
